Acupuncture is successfully used to treat pain and inflammation as well as internal organ and neurologic dysfunction in humans and animals. This modality utilizes insertion of needles into specific anatomical locations to target the nerve or muscle responsible for the dysfunction.  Often, electrical stimulation is also used for a more powerful treatment protocol. Dr. Sammons has experience treating all types of large and small animals for a variety of ailments and has found much success in treating back injuries, gastrointestinal upset, loss of appetite, and generalized muscle soreness. We also offer laser therapy for conditions more amenable to this treatment modality.
